Delhi, August 25, 2024: South Delhi Superstarz captain Ayush Badoni delivered a sensational performance during the 13th match of the inaugural Delhi Premier League, taking on West Delhi Lions at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Badoni lit up the match on Sunday with a remarkable display of power-hitting, smashing four sixes in a single over against West Delhi Lions skipper Hrithik Shokeen.
The fireworks began during the eighth over of South Delhi’s innings when Badoni unleashed his fury. The young captain started the over with a towering six over deep mid-wicket, setting the tone for what was to follow. He then launched another huge six straight down the ground, thrilling the crowd. After taking a single off the third ball, his partner Priyansh Arya rotated the strike with another single, bringing Badoni back on strike.
Badoni continued his aggressive approach, stepping down the track and dispatching the fifth ball over mid-off for another six. The over culminated in a flat six hammered straight down the ground, capping off a destructive over where Badoni hit four sixes. His clean striking left the West Delhi Lions bowlers with no answers.
