A day after their viral interview on BCCI’s official website, Indian coach Gautam Gambhir and senior batter Virat Kohli were seen enjoying each other’s company on Day 1 of the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai. Pictures of the duo laughing and having fun in the dressing room are circulating widely on social media.
The first Test saw Bangladesh win the toss and send India in to bat. India struggled early, losing their top three for just 34 runs, including captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who both fell for six. However, Ravichandran Ashwin (102*) and Ravindra Jadeja (86*) rescued India, taking them to a solid 339-6 by stumps with an unbroken 195-run partnership.
