Amit Shah recently took charge of India’s Home Ministry for the second consecutive term under the Modi 3.0 Cabinet. He has held this portfolio since 2019. In the 2024 Lok Sabha Election, Shah secured a significant victory in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar seat, winning by a substantial margin of 7,44,716 votes. He received a total of 10,10,972 votes, defeating Congress candidate Sonal Patel, who garnered 2,66,256 votes.
