Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and Mohammed Shami were among the prominent attendees at the grand inauguration of the newly revamped National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, hosted by the BCCI on September 29.
The revamped NCA, now rebranded as the BCCI Centre of Excellence, marks a significant step in enhancing India’s cricket infrastructure and player development facilities. Outgoing BCCI secretary Jay Shah and president Roger Binny were also present at the event, celebrating the unveiling of the new state-of-the-art facility.
Hardik Pandya and Mohammed Shami, who have both undergone rehabilitation at the NCA during their careers, attended the event to show their support for this milestone in Indian cricket. The upgraded facility aims to revolutionize the domestic cricket structure, setting new standards for cricketing excellence and player welfare.
