Jasprit Bumrah last featured for Team India during the 2024 T20 World Cup, where his stellar performances earned him the prestigious Player of the Series award. After being rested for India’s tour of Sri Lanka, Bumrah has also been excluded from the upcoming Duleep Trophy to focus on the Test season. This season is crucial as it includes a series of Test matches against Bangladesh and New Zealand at home, followed by an away series against Australia, making it a packed and demanding calendar year.

Known for his lethal pace and precision, the 30-year-old Bumrah has been a vital asset to the Indian team in the Test format. With 36 Test matches under his belt, he has claimed 159 wickets, including 10 five-wicket hauls. His last Test match was against England in Dharamsala earlier this year.

Jasprit Bumrah’s return to training has generated excitement among fans, as they eagerly await his performances in the upcoming Test series. His social media post, captioned “Punjabi aa Gaye Oye,” reflects his readiness and enthusiasm as he gears up for another challenging season with Team India.
