Jasprit Bumrah, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024‘s Player Of The Tournament, received a hero’s welcome in Ahmedabad following his stellar performance in India’s victorious World Cup campaign. Bumrah was greeted with immense fanfare and celebration upon his return home, a moment that has since gone viral on social media.
Bumrah participated in the team’s open-bus roadshow in Mumbai, which was followed by a grand felicitation ceremony at the Wankhede Stadium. During the ceremony, the team was awarded a Rs 125-crore cheque, the prize money announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for their incredible performance.
