India’s 23-year-old badminton star, Lakshya Sen, has expressed his ambition to become the Virat Kohli of Indian badminton. Sen, who recently impressed audiences with his remarkable performances at the Paris Olympics 2024, revealed his admiration for Kohli’s contributions to Indian cricket during an appearance on The Ranveer Show.
Lakshya Sen, who dazzled viewers with his gameplay on his way to the semifinals, faced heartbreaking losses to Viktor Axelsen and Lee Zii Jia, narrowly missing out on a medal. Sen responded with enthusiasm, stating, “Why not! He’s done so much for Indian cricket. I also want to become the Virat Kohli of Indian badminton in the future.”
