Veteran Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin celebrated his 38th birthday on Tuesday, September 17, and marked the occasion with a heartwarming family moment. His wife, Prithi Narayanan, took to Instagram to share a touching post featuring Ashwin enjoying quality time with their daughters. The post read, “Happy Birthday @rashwin99. As Ashwin enjoys his family time, he is also preparing for his return to the cricket field. The Tamil Nadu off-spinner is set to play a pivotal role in India’s upcoming two-Test series against Bangladesh, which kicks off on Thursday, September 19. The first game will be played in Ashwin’s hometown of Chennai, while the second Test is scheduled to start on September 27 in Kanpur.

Ashwin’s last international appearance for India was earlier this year in a Test match against England, held in Dharamsala, where he delivered an impressive performance by taking nine wickets. With 516 Test wickets to his name, Ashwin remains a key figure in India’s bowling attack, and he will be eager to add to his tally during the home season. After the Bangladesh series, India will host New Zealand for a three-match Test series, where Ashwin will once again aim to make a significant impact.
