Rahul Dravid appointed India’s head coach in November 2021, enjoyed significant success during his tenure. Under his leadership, India reached the finals of the World Test Championship and the 2023 ODI World Cup. His final assignment as head coach ended on a high note, with India lifting the 2024 T20 World Cup by defeating South Africa in the final earlier this year.

As Rahul Dravid steps back from the national team, he will soon return to the cricketing spotlight. He has signed a multi-year contract to take up the role of head coach for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL), starting in the 2025 season.
