Ace badminton player PV Sindhu couldn’t have asked for better cheerleaders at the Paris Olympics. Her fellow Hyderabadis, Telugu superstar Ram Charan, and his wife Upasana, visited her and cheered her on during her match against Maldives’ Fathimath Abdul Razzaq on Sunday.
Ram Charan, Upasana Visit PV Sindhu at the Olympics
Upasana took to her Instagram Stories to give a glimpse of their day out with PV. She shared a video of her and Ram enthusiastically cheering for the Indian shuttler. Another video showed PV greeting Ram, and a third featured PV taking Ram and Upasana on a tour of the Olympic Village, where she expressed her long-time dream of visiting the Olympics.
Upasana also gave her followers a virtual tour. In a viral video, PV is shown petting Ram and Upasana’s dog, Rhyme. The couple also shared a photo with PV on their Instagram. Upasana wore a white outfit with a black belt, while Ram sported an all-black look for the occasion. Between them, PV posed with a thumbs-up sign in front of a banner displaying the Olympic rings and the motto “Faster, Higher, Stronger – Together,” along with its French translation.
Ram and Upasana captioned their joint post, “#jeetkiaur all the best #teamindia @pvsindhu1 you are a true rock star.” They also tagged Wear Team India and the Olympics. PV responded with a comment, “I am so happy you guys could come!!” She also shared an Instagram Story by Upasana, showing her walking and chatting with Ram’s father, the famous actor Chiranjeevi.
