Former India cricketer and coach Ravi Shastri made his presence felt at the Paris Olympics 2024, attending the tennis events to cheer for the young tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz at Stade Roland Garros. On Saturday, Shastri was seen enthusiastically supporting the Spaniard, who recently triumphed at Wimbledon 2024 by defeating Novak Djokovic.
Alcaraz, who is riding high on his recent successes, began his men’s singles campaign at the Paris Olympics 2024 with a convincing victory over Hady Habib, winning 6-3, 6-1. The 21-year-old prodigy, who also clinched the French Open 2024 title earlier this year, is now aiming for Olympic gold.
