RCB Fans Rally with Bike Roadshow: The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) boasts one of the most loyal fanbases in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Demonstrating their unwavering support, hundreds of fans participated in a bike roadshow ahead of RCB’s must-win game against defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) outside M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday, May 18.
Despite losing seven of their first eight matches, RCB turned their fortunes around with five consecutive wins against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Titans (twice), Punjab Kings, and Delhi Capitals. A significant victory against CSK is crucial for RCB to secure the fourth spot in the playoffs.
On Saturday morning, RCB fans, donning team colors, flocked to the streets on two-wheelers, cheering for their team in their last home game of the IPL 2024 season. To qualify for the playoffs, RCB must win the game by at least 18 runs or chase the target within 18.1 overs to surpass CSK’s net run rate (NRR) and reach 14 points. The Bengaluru-based franchise is also eager to avenge their six-wicket loss to the Super Kings in this season’s opener on March 22.
