Indian cricketers Rishabh Pant, Mohammed Siraj, and Axar Patel were recently seen engaging in a hilarious banter regarding their winner’s medals from the 2024 T20 World Cup. The light-hearted exchange took place on Instagram after Pant shared a picture of himself posing with the medal.
Notably, BCCI secretary Jay Shah handed out the winners’ medals to the Indian players following their thrilling seven-run victory over South Africa in the final, marking India’s first ICC trophy win in 11 years. Pant, elated with the triumph, posted a picture on Instagram on Wednesday (June 3) with the caption: “This medal hits you differently.”
Axar Patel was quick to jump in with a humorous comment: “Bhai same mere pass bhi hai” (Brother, I have the same thing). Mohammed Siraj joined the fun, replying: “Bhai mere pass bhi h same” (Brother, I too have the same thing).
The playful banter among the teammates delighted fans and showcased the camaraderie within the Indian cricket team, adding another memorable moment to their T20 World Cup victory celebrations.
