Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, renowned as the “Master Blaster,” marked a symbol of love by visiting the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra with his wife, Anjali Tendulkar, on the day following Valentine’s Day.
Arriving in Agra on Thursday afternoon, Bharat Ratna awardee Sachin Tendulkar spent an hour at the Taj Mahal, where he posed for photographs with his wife, Anjali, on the famed Diana Seat.
During Sachin’s visit to the Taj Mahal, heavy police forces and private security personnel were deployed. As news of his presence spread, tourists rushed to catch a glimpse and take photos with the cricketing legend, causing a commotion.
Tourists eager to catch a glimpse of Sachin Tendulkar found themselves crowded near the Central Tank area, but amidst tight police security, Sachin and his wife were escorted separately to the main dome of the Taj Mahal.
Sachin spent an hour exploring the Taj Mahal, admiring its architecture and learning about its history, before concluding his visit.
