The current vice-captain of India’s ODI and T20I teams marked his special day by showing off a lesser-known talent—his singing skills. A video shared by a user on X gave fans a glimpse into the fun celebration, where Gill could be seen singing enthusiastically, surrounded by a group of friends.

Gill’s birthday party was attended by several prominent names, including his close friend and fellow Indian cricketer Ishan Kishan, and Team India’s middle-order stars KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer. The players posed for pictures together, adding a touch of camaraderie to the celebrations.
Shubman Gill was last seen in action during the Duleep Trophy 2024, where he captained India A in a match against India B at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a memorable outing for the young star as his team suffered a 76-run defeat at the hands of India B, led by Abhimanyu Easwaran. Gill had modest scores, contributing 25 (43) and 21 (35) in the two innings but failed to convert those starts into substantial scores.
Despite the on-field disappointment, Gill ended his weekend on a high note with his birthday celebration, which provided him with a well-deserved break and an opportunity to enjoy some downtime with his friends.
