The BCCI shared a behind-the-scenes video capturing the team’s travel from Gwalior to Delhi. It showcased the players in a cheerful mood during their brief flight on Monday, October 7. In the video, bowling coach Morne Morkel was seen hard at work even while traveling, while players like Mayank Yadav and Sanju Samson appeared relaxed and smiling.
Suryakumar Yadav, India’s T20 captain, was a fan favorite, seen engaging with supporters at the airport, signing autographs, and posing for pictures. Upon reaching their hotel, the Indian squad was greeted with vibrant drumbeats and traditional “Dhol” performances. Fans cheered for Suryakumar with chants like “India ki Shaan, Suryakumar,” and in a lighthearted moment, he joined the performers in a brief dance, accompanied by a team staff member. Riyan Parag and Rinku Singh were also given a warm welcome.
India is now one step away from sealing the series after already claiming the Test series 2-0 against Bangladesh. The team’s performance in Gwalior sets a high standard, and another victory in Delhi will ensure the series win.
