The Toronto Nationals, in their chase, faced an early setback when their captain, Colin Munro, was dismissed for 11 in the second over.
Despite the early loss, Unmukt Chand and Rassie van der Dussen formed a crucial 79-run partnership for the second wicket, which set the foundation for an easy win for the Toronto Nationals. Van der Dussen was dismissed after scoring 25 off 23 balls, but Chand remained resilient.
Unmukt Chand’s unbeaten 53 off 40 balls, featuring eight fours and one maximum, guided the Toronto Nationals to their second consecutive victory in the tournament. His remarkable performance not only led his team to a comfortable win but also highlighted his prowess as a dependable batsman in the T20 format.
