The 35-year-old star cricketer was spotted at the Mumbai airport, where he paused to pose for the paparazzi before heading on his way. Virat Kohli’s return marks a key moment as he prepares to lead India in the much-anticipated series, starting Wednesday, October 16, in Bengaluru.
The second Test match of the series is set to take place in Pune, beginning on October 24, followed by the series finale in Mumbai, starting on November 1. Once the series wraps up, Virat Kohli will rejoin the Indian squad for the highly anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, set to take place later in the season.

Kohli’s most recent Test appearance was during India’s two-match series against Bangladesh. While India secured a comprehensive 280-run victory in the first match, Kohli faced a rough patch, managing just 6 and 17 runs across both innings. However, he bounced back in the second match, contributing a brisk 47 runs from 35 balls in the first innings. In the second innings, Kohli’s unbeaten 29 off 37 balls led India to a seven-wicket victory, sealing a clean sweep over Bangladesh.
